As for the guns, they have an exquisite look, mostly because of their elaborated organic part. Except that, we've got the same old shotgun, sniper-gun, missile launcher, lighting gun, chain gun, rail-gun . Another thing that has frustrated me is how the story is exposed. I was getting the impression that the guy was there only to find his woman and go home. He doesn't give a damn that some alien species are attacking Earth. That is pathetic.
As for the multiplayer, not much to tell. Human Head offers only two ways of playing the game ( Deathmatch / Team Deathmatch ) and 8 maps.
I am a little disappointed with the small number of enemies, besides the chicken with no feathers (Fodder) and the mutts (Hound), you are only shooting after Hunters, robots and some flying jellyfishes.
Anyhow, Prey remains one of FPSes that innovated the genre in aspect matter, not only by its technique but also due to the ingenuity of the creators.
That is not what I can say about the sound part of the game .Perhaps the soundtrack was made by Jeremy Soule, nothing to say about that, I myself liked that song during the credits. The rest of the music goes on unobserved and lacks that special something. Another catastrophic aspect is Tommy's voice and his "clever" lines.
I'm not interested in hearing cues like "fuck off", "damn you", for nearly 4 hours.
For me, this is only a FPS with a mediocre A.I., an ingenious but recurring gameplay, a great looking design, and a veeerryyy short game duration.
