Its funny how the moment you finish a game you are ironically questioning yourself: was that it?

Its also strange how you are trying to remember what you have played and you are only recalling the parts that you have repeated n times.

Not until now am I sure what did Human Head want to do with this game. If they were planning a quick and alert FPS, their idea has totally failed.

If they wanted to express an entertaining story through an enjoyable and interesting gameplay , they have only half succeeded.

After playing the demo, which was quite a unique experience, I had high expectations for the full version.

So the story starts with:"hello I'm Tommy" some dude bored with his life, who can't stand his origins and the reservation where he has to work as a miner everyday. Anyhow, the story is so not present that I find no use in developing it.

The action starts, you get into the presumed invader ship, and..fuck me, what the hell was that? Due to the DOOM3 engine, (which btw still is the best of indoor areas) the portals and the gravitational switch, the devs managed to "draw" the levels in a deadly cool way.

Its quite a delight to kill an enemy and then observe the way his body regains its physical features and flows out alongside you, hitting all the objects around it.

Back to Tommy and his origin (from Cherokee) he has the capacity to send his soul for a walk; the developers were trying to hide a bit of the game's linearity by introducing this spirit-mode.

What really sucks is that even though the spirit can interact with real objects, and be seen by enemies, it cannot open a door. Another stupid thing as far as the new features are concerned, is the *death walking*. It sends you in a "Dead Realm" where you are bagging birds with a bow, in order to regain your life resources and spiritual energy .The really gay part is that you cannot die! Prey is the first FPS that will not let you die even if you wanted so.
